This is a kind of belated post, but oh well...
Kiran walked up on stage during the "model" don't-know-what thingy during assembly in a cheongsam way too short.
She's a prefect.
If i'm not wrong, MarieAnn(Head prefect) had said one day before this, that we were all not allowed to have cheongsams with slits that go above mid-thigh. That does include cheongsams which are above mid-thigh right?
Kiran's cheongsam was above mid-thigh.
Firstly, she didn't get booked.
She's a prefect and she should have followed the f____g rules.
Secondly, as a chinese, i feel insulted. We're conservative people by culture. (Not that conservative anymore...) By wearing such a short cheongsam, it has NEGATIVE CONOTATIONS. How insulting.
I heard this from someone:
Mr. Jo ; "Is that Kiran??"
(Someone replied yes or smth..)
Mr Jo; "It's still morning..."
I hope you understand what Mr. Jo said.
He was implying that she wasn't wearing appropriate clothes for morning. (HintHint: She was wearing appropriate clothes for Night!!)
Tsk.
I shall stop being angry.
Tsk her.
Tsk.
Tsk.
Tsk.
Corrupted society much?
