THAT, is paul the octopus.
You see, there are two boxes with flags in them, and in each box there's a piece of food, and Paul chooses which box to open. The box he opens is supposedly the country that will win the match.
I did my reasearch! Technically, Paul has made 2 mistakes so far, i think. So he isn't a 100% reliable source. Also, isn't it like the German football players will feel less confident if they see this octopus not choosing their flag? Then they may be disheartened and as a result not play as well. Thus, it may be because of this octopus that they didn't win!

Everyone was talking about Spain Vs Germany in school.
Clar drew a German flag on Hevina in amath, because she supports Germany.
Hevina drew a German flag on my hand in Bio prac. But, she wrote "germany sucks" next to that. This drawing of the german flag got passed down by me to Chloe, Rachael and Jia Yan in chinese. I wrote "anti-german" next to it.
So you have this whole bunch of people in 3GY with German flags on their arms and words like "Germany sucks" or "Anti- Germany". Heehee! (:

Spain has never won World Cup.
I don't know about Holland.
