It's a very Localised musical.
It definitely isn't comparable to the likes of "Wicked", "Cats" and other world-renowned musicals. However though, it is truly full of local flavour, showing you what it means to be "Singaporean", if i so nicely put it.
Though i can say that the vocals of the cast itself wasn't too bad, i feel that for a musical, i almost expected something more from it.
It does help if you understand a few words in dialect before watching this, as there were parts where i almost completely didn't understand it, because of the slew of dialect words.
All in all though, this musical was quite a good watch, and i recommend it for all of you who have never watched a local musical before, to give it a try.
Just keep your mind open. (WIDE open...)
