ACES DAY WAS SO FUN (: whole school did some mass bhangra dance thing in the field, and everyone looked so funny. 3GY won best dressed for our insect gear, woohoo!! :D (Thanks ah Sonia, for making Mrs De think of giving us an animal planet theme -.- Hahah.) Had a really slack-ish chem lesson. (hooray!) And then had crazy captains' ball for pe. (again!! :>) Then slacked off in english lesson because more than half the class had to go for teachers' day performance rehearsal, and that was awesome because it let us skip the situational writing test that Ms Chua had planned for us (: Took retarded polaroids outside class, with Fi, Adi, and Clar :> FREAKING AWESOME TTM ♥ Saw Michelle ma'am, YanBing ma'am, Gilda ma'am, ZiYing ma'am, Danielle ma'am. But i didn't see JingRui ma'am and QianaYi ma'am ): hmph. They said our Red Cross board looks really nice! Yay! *clap clap clap* I'm really proud of myself for drawing at least like 2/5 of the stuff there and making the board look awesome (: Teachers' day performance was really good. BECKIE & ANNA CAN DANCE REALLY WELL!! (: and the dancers did this hip-hop thingy dance and it was really nice. I wanna find out who choreographed it, and ask her to help us for RCY talentime next year. I think Jo choreo-ed it. :D I told Fionna that if scrcy can pull that kind of dance off for talentime dance com , we CONFIRM can win already ((: teehee!! :D Yeah, CHARMAINE LEONG NEVER COEM BACK IN THE END. walau ): Then i saw BING LIN ♥ and yeah.. :> Went ion/taka with chloe after school (: SO FUN, STATIONERY SHOPPING :D I wasted so much money, but heck cos i've got really really cute elephant paperclips now! ♥ It was a really good day, yesterday. Saturday was Dance finals (:

I'm not sure if i can remember everything that happened on Saturday..
Oh well... So met in room 100 and practiced until like 10am. We took a lot of pics in room 100 (: Dancers had a mini photoshoot. It kinda failed though. Hahaha. Bus journey was kinda odd. Everyone took out mp3s. No idea why. Then Yi Ling and I played "Down by Jay Sean" from our similar phones at the same time. This made it twice as loud. Two of us had so much fun singing along to that. Hehe (: We waited in the Cedar Sec holding room before our performance. We waited REALLY LONG! I think that's because we were there at like 11 and Dance performance was only at 3. Sheesh... So we talked and put on make up. We also took SUPER A LOT of pictures. YEAH! (: Then Dance people had to go to the Rehearsal room to check the audio tracks. (HQ literally labelled all the rooms. Weird...) At first our audio track kept screwing, so we got slightly worried. But it was fine after that (: ALSO, we had to learn this opening dance thing. It was really simple, but kind of weird too. Hahaha. After all the practicing, we went back to the holding room. Then we touched up make up (: Around 2 smth, i heard that Drama was still going on, and i asked Su-lin to video. but she couldn't. Then she came out of the hall to meet me. AND GUESS WHAT. Maryam had gotten lost! She was at the Cedar holding school. Just as we were going "oh no oh no oh no.." Who come walking down the corridor? MARYAM! :D So i ran to her and hugged her (: Yay! Hahah. Then took phone for Maryam to help video us with. & Levelmates who were in Dance and Song came out too! So we were all hugging and jumping up and down. How cute right? (: Dance really started after that. It was fun, dancing in the middle of the floor and really giving it our best shot. Here's the video: So anyway, the judges gave comments with regards to our feet. About how we were always dancing on the balls of our feet. Well, TECHNICALLY, we didn't want to break Cedars' floor okay! :S Then he commented on how our centre should be at our stomach area. So he stood up to show us where our stomach was. Okay....weird... The emcees then announced the results, and... DRAMA WON SECOND, and SONG WON SECOND. I'm so happy for both group! (: Dance didn't win, but that's okay... WHAT IS ANNOYING is how the emcee pronounced who won Dance. They said St. Margs but they pronounced "St." like "Singapore". I thought it was our school, so i jumped for one second and then i sat down and was so damn paiseh. STUPID STUPID EMCEE. What else was annoying was that HQ said Dance must be contemporary and cultural fusion. However, in the end, only our group did Contemporary. So actually, that meant that the rest should be disqualified. ARGH, WHATEVER. We already improved by getting into the Top 5 and Finals this year (: So, i'm happy, and content (: Bus ride back to school was CRAZY. We kept giving three cheers to a lot of people. HAHA :D Then Diyana was like, "Three cheers for me" and everyone was like "no!" Other people joined in too. Then i was like, " 5 billion cheers for me!" and Maryam was like , "You do yourself la!" Hahah, SO EPIC (: And there was this part where Nadira asked me if i was saying that i texted matthew. & i screamed at her, "MATTHEW HAS NO PHONE!" Not scream, but said it quite loudly. She said i sounded so protective. I was like, "Whatever !" Heh... Not a lot of people came for dinner. Only 12 of us went. We couldn't decide where to eat and pizza hut was under renovation or smth. That sucked ): So we finally ate at Pastamania. Its not that great, but its definitely better than swensens (: I sat near the ncos during dinner. It wasn't on purpose, but by accident, and it was quite fun sitting with them (: Somehow, we talked about religion, like the difference between Catholics and Christians. & then Ruth ma'am told us her scary dream. It is so scary ): I don't like it, i felt scared just listening to it actually. Now, somehow, i can't remember what else we talked about. Heh.. Ate Ben & Jerry's after that. A COOKIE AFFAIR ROCKS SOCKS (: I totally like that flavour. Oh, and supposedly, you can only sit in ben & jerry's if you buy their ice cream. So cheryl refused to sit down. Omgeee. Hahah. She walked into Toys R Us. We saw her playing with an umbrella. It was so funny. It's like she repeatedly closed and opened it. Haha. Then she went to stare at the video game the little kids were playing in the shop. & when she came back to B&J's she opened her chinese newspaper and started reading it. EPIC. Hahaha. In the end, Dione ma'am and I were left, so we just talked about random stuff. It was fun (: & it seems that a lot of people know about Jeremy and Matthew. Well... I think i must talk too much. D-D-D-DANCE!

Didn't practice as much during RC meeting as i hoped too.
A lot of dance people / sec3s were having bio prac. So i practiced alone. But i gave up after a while. Practicing alone or just with Nadira is no fun. So, i went to help the song people (: DANCE IS GETTING SO MUCH BETTER! I hope we win :D & we had a macs dinner after meeting. THEN, stayed back in room 100 for extra practice. I only stayed awhile, but practicing infront of THE MIRROR is so much better (: |

WE GOT IN!!!

Today was really eventful.
I totally used to hate thursdays, but today was especially good. (: During recess, Yiling told me that Aisyah found out the Arts Festival Talentime results, but she wouldn't tell us. & Dione ma'am wanted to keep it a surprise! She told me that Dione ma'am said that we'd only know at the end of bersurai. I spent like, the whole of recess jumping up and down and screaming. Literally. There was soo much suspense. And everytime I asked whoever-who-knew-the-results whether it was good or bad, they kept telling me, "you'll find out later." It was soooooo annoying! hahaha. We screwed up firedrill during meeting. I wasn't prepared. My bad... We really could have done better. Then, the ncos revealed the results to us. They kept asking us to raise hands to guess what number of groups got in. (There were four groups: Dance, Song, Drama, Static Display) So, we were told. That Static Display didn't get in. Aw... And we were told that Drama got in. The judges had been impressed that day. THEN THEN THEN, Dione ma'am was like , "we got in for BOTH song and dance!" And i was already prepared to cry - there were tears in my eyes! - whether we did get into dance or not. So, when she said that we did, I started crying and laughing. I couldn't stop crying for really long, then Yiling was next to me, and i hugged her and i kept repeating "we got in, we got in, we got in!" Then i realised she was crying too. Aw, BESTIE♥ We've haven't gotten into the Finals for dance since 3 years ago. I am soo happy! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? :D Somemore, there used to be 10 schools in the finals, now, there are only FIVE. F-I-V-E, FIVE! We've really come a long way (: I can't wait till finals, its on the 3rd of April, at Cedar Girls'. WHEEHEE!!! I stopped crying after really long by the way. THEN, i started again. Wow, What an accomplishment... (: Took bus home with Maryam after that. You know, it was really odd because at first, this Sji international (sjii) was holding this really cardboard box which kinda looked like a shoe box, but wasn't. And i heard a sound coming from that box. Like, i heard it more than once. It kind of sounded like a "meow.." So i was wondering if maybe he had some kind of animal in that box. The sjii boy then kept discussing something about pet shops and spca with this other guy on the bus. That guy looks like a breakdancer. Or a gangster. Whichever you prefer to describe his dress sense. Hahah. Then the sjii boy's mom called. And the other guy mouthed " tell her about the effing cat". I was like telling maryam, "there's a cat in the box. Ohmygosh..." The sjii boy kept thinking of dropping the cat off at some pet shop in coronation (which there isn't!), or at some shops near some petrol kiosk. LOL. So we were like near HCI that time, i started asking him about the cat. I managed to stop him from bringing it to a pet shop. Pet shops usually don't help with strays... Then i told him that there's a spca at bishan area. The breakdancer guy was like, "why didn't you tell us that earlier?" And i did the weird hand gesturing thing, and ohmygosh, i felt so bimbotic. EHCK. Then the sjii boy asked me if i wanted the cat. I was like, "er... no?" Then the breakdancer guy was like, "you might as well ask the whole bus..." "Hey! Does anyone want a cat?" He really did say it quite loudly... So me & maryam laughed at him. HAHA :D Yeah, sjii boy got off at my bus stop. BUT, he doesn't live in my condo. So i asked him where he stayed, haha. Then i saw the cat in the shoebox. IT IS NOT EVEN A CAT. It is a white kitten with matted fur and it was squeaking little "meows" and looking so pitiful. It was like 2 inches long? TINY TINY TINY POOR THING. I stroked it for a while... Talked to him a bit about the cat, wished him luck with it, then i went home. I asked Mei Mei if she knew that guy, since they were from the same school. Also, he's in photography club (like mei mei) and that's deduced because he was carrying a canon camera bag. The pro looking dslr kind. After i kind of described him to her, she told me she knew him. His name is KEITH. But she never talked to him. How cool... Its nice to know that some people have hearts, and its nice to know that Keith saved a kitten today (: It made my day knowing that someone cares about animals. Seriously, i don't know why it did, but it really did. Today was a good day... ♥ |
