Wasted about 4 hours of my life in honours' day rehearsal.
I didn't have much of what i needed to study with me. I finished SS, did sec4 amath which i borrowed from Deborah Tan JY ma'am, even though i can't really do it :S (I practically just scared that shit out of myself by doing her mocks :<) Then after annoying Siti Sarah ma'am, Carolyn ma'am, Deborah Tan JY ma'am, Maryam and Amanda Loh, i decided to sleep. pfft. I accidentally ripped the cover off Siti Sarah ma'am's history tb, and i feel so horrid thinking about it, but it really was an accident... :/ (and it was kinda funny when it happened.. :P ) Still, i could've spent that time at home. EATING LUNCH, SLEEPING, DOING HOMEWORK, REVISING. goshhhhhhhhhhhh ): stupidstupid. Ah well, what's done cannot be undone. Gonna go finish up all that's not been attempted. I decided to go swimming after doing about 2 hours of amath.
I went with my siblings (: And the only reason why i wanted to swim was because i felt fat. I mean, how stupid is that? But still, i actually really dislike swimming if i remember correctly... all because of things that happened in the past... Anyway, i'm not about to digress into that, because today, i refound my love of swimming. You know, the way this whole feeling of cool washes over you when you first jump into the pool. The way the water glides over your body as you swim from one end of the pool to the other. How there's nothing stopping you from swimming faster and faster and faster. The sense of achievement of completing each lap and knowing that you can do it again, maybe even better this time ? Yeah... Swimming is like an escape. Where nothing can get to you because you're hidden under the water. The bitches from no-life land can't get to you. The parents can't get to you. The noise and shouting and all the fighting can't get to you. You can't even really ponder over your own problems. All you can think about, is to 'keep moving forward'. I like that. (: I realised that the only thing about my swimming that has deproved over all these years, is my stamina. I can barely do a lap without feeling like i incurred an oxygen debt and lactic acid is running through my muscles -which, by the way, are practically non-existant, haha-. I can still imagine jiao lian telling me to "kick more", "glide further", "go faster". I miss jiao lian. >: Ah, how it all seems like it was only yesterday, yet, it was 4 years ago. I still remember all the strokes, every method, everything that has been drilled into me, which is why i suppose even now, i can beat my sister at freestyle and breastroke, though i haven't had weekly trainings like she now has. Amazing what skill and technique can do for you. (: Alright, back to amath! Better not screw tomorrow's test. Wish me luck!! (: |

Catechism was kinda boring again.
Had a lecture by Uncle Aaron, and i've no idea what it was about :S Then this woman called Geraldine came to talk to us about C.A.R.E. , and organization which takes cares of aids patients, and gives them a place to stay and work to do. Then Fr. Richards came in and started telling us about taking a test and that the top 10 people will get to go to Pakistan for an exchange to experience others teenagers lives. Sounds kinda fun, and scary... but he was actually joking, and yet i believed him :p So actually, he came to tell us that THIS YEAR we have to do Project G.O.D. (: But i feel stressed because Fr. Richards says we have to get it done by mid october. Oh, the promotional video by mid october, i mean. Like yeah, we have to submit it to him for checking. Grr. SO STRESS ): Kay anyway, NIGEL BAILED ON ME FOR STUDYING. Nicole Chin, Grace, Kim, Ana accompanied me instead (: & Ana and Kim kinda ponned half of mass because they wanted to skip the homily or something. Hahhaahaha. Damn funny. We ate Percy Pig sweets :D Then darling Nicole Chin stayed with me while i studied SS. She stayed with me till like 6, then she went of. THANK YOU NICOLE CHIN, FOR KEEPING ME COMPANY ♥ Then Matt came down after mass, but i was doing SS, so he "Roar-ed" me :P Hahaha. Then he helped me with emath (: THANK YOU SEOW ♥ It was so funny though, because while he was doing emath, (i finished ss, and was playing with his iphone :D) someone switched off the canteen light, and we were sitting in darkness. Heheee (: Then, aunty Christine switched off the toilet light and walked out into the canteen then she saw me. She was like asking why we were sitting in darkness, hahaha. I told her because somebody switched off the light and we don't know where the light switch was. Then she asked us if she should switch on the toilet light, and would it help. Hahahahaha. So funny, but we told her not to because it wouldn't really help. Lol!! Yeah, few minutes after that, some little boy was in the canteen, and Matt was downloading Doodle Jump for me! (: (Thank you mattttt :D) Then he stood next to Matthew, watching him use the phone. And Matt looked at me and gave me a "do you know that kid" look, but i didn't know that kid. Hahahah. Then he asked us: What are you'll doing here? Jacq: Studying... Little kid: With and iphone and a calculator in the dark? Matt: Yep... Then he walked off befuddled, and kept looking back at us. Hahaha. Matt & I just laughed at him. Then Matt said bye to the little kid and he just stared at us and walked off. Funny little kid (: He thought we were weirdos because of the calculator. HEHEHEE. He doesn't get that upper sec maths needs a calculator. Ah, so innocent... Matt walked with me to the bus stop (: Hahaha, WALK SO FAR SOMEMORE. Stupiddd. Then i tried pushing him into the drain like 3 times. All failures. POOEY ): He said if i push him onto the road, he will drag me with him. MEH. Hahaha. Then when we were walking along the path near the bus stop, there was this part where it was clearly uneven, and he fought with me to be on the higher side. Heh :S But it was really funny(: It was funny being on the rooftop. COCOA, the neighbour's dog, wouldn't stop barking. Even though matt and i screamed at cocoa to shut up like... a gazillion times!! Stupid cocoa.. Then he tried climbing up the slope thing. And i warned him that if he slid down it, he may rip his pants. Then he ran down it. HAHA. Okay, today was so fun, and funny (: I'm really happy. Especially about one part, which i didn't blog about. PRODUCTIVE STUDYING TODAY!!!! (: so proud of myself ! :D TIME FOR BIO NOW o: |

mom doesn't believe i can study with other people.
Her reason is because when she did it when she was young, it didn't work. Well, Fact number 1 ; I'm not her. Fact number 2; I'm serious about studying. Fact number 3; Studying at home is not as productive as studying Outside the house, WITH friends. Fact number 4; The people I'm gonna study with are just as freaked out about EOYs. Fact number 5; I don't think I'd dare waste a few hours of my life "pretending" to study, seriously... Fact number 6; I think that studying with people can benefit everybody! Can't think of any more points right now. But i believe that my argument is substantiated! I'm serious though, studying at home is hardly productive, not when you've got 3 siblings running around, screaming, shouting, dancing and playing with toys. You just get pulled along into the mess with them. I need to study with someone who can help me out. If i study with no one there in case i need help, that isn't beneficiary now is it? |

Bowling for health week in school!! (:
We went to Mt. Faber SAFRA, and i had a super de ja vu feeling the whole time we were there! Clar kept asking me why i was so high, and i told her because i was there EXACTLY 2 weeks ago for interministry! :D SUPER FUN! :D Our team is so epic, we had like so many gutter balls. Especially me! LOL!!! When we were doing practice round, we were so pro because me & sonia together got a SPARE in the first round, Chloe got a gutter, Jun got a STRIKE and Clar also had gutter. How kewl! (: When we did start playing the real game, i had the super worstest score ever possible. HAHAHAHAHA. But it was so retarded because our group kept screaming as long as someone even hit down ONE PIN (: And i always almost striked, so i kept jumping up and down like some crazy person. HEEHEE(: We also screamed :D (or mostly, it was just me screaming...) Then Clar & Chloe & I invented a new dance! HAHAH :D SUPER AWESOME! (: We didn't have enough time to finish one game, so the furthest we got was 8 rounds. I had a super epicly lousy score of 32. I'm so glad that i watched it. I feel positively enlightened. The lecture he gave at the U is definitely different from the one he gave during Oprah's show. Still, it's amazing (: I don't know whether anyone has realized this, but all videos on YouTube have a maximum length of 10 minutes. However, The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch is 1 hour, 16 minutes and 27 seconds long. Is that awesome or what?? I strongly encourage everyone to watch The Last Lecture. :D Just to share one quote from the lecture: President Cohon. When i told him i was going to do this talk, he said "plese tell them about having fun, because that's what i remember you for." And i said, "I can do that, but it's kinda likea fish talking about the importance of water." I mean, i don't know how to NOT have fun. Watched Avatar: The Last Air bender on friday!! (:
It was really really good! I was practically doing a media analysis while watching the movie. Am i nuts or what? Hahahaha. The lady next to me had a little girl, i think she was only one years old, but that little girl sure was cranky. She kept making whiny noises throughout the movie. I was a lil annoyed at first, and then after a while i looked at her and she stared at me with her big brown eyes, and she stopped whining (: Heeehee! She is really cute...th I don't know why, but sometimes the small things that i realise during a movie will make me feel touched. *SPOILER ALERT* There was this part where Aang, Katara and Sokka were in the southern earth nation, and Aang was trying to rally the people to continue earth bending because he believed that they could drive the fire nation out of their village. Aang started air bending and attacking some guards from the fire nation, while the fire nation guards started attacking some of the earth benders. In order to distract one of the guards, a little girl -who's name i can't remember now- threw a rock at one of the guards, and just before he could fire bend some ball of fire towards her, her father bends a rock wall to block the attack. And then she hugs him. Such a simple yet unnerving thing, and yet it tells of familial ties and love. I wanted to tear. Hahahah (: EVERYBODY GO WATCH THE LAST AIRBENDER NOWWWWW!!!! :D |

I thought that walking out would be easier for me, but i was wrong.
I've made that mistake once, twice, and i was about to do it again. Then i thought, and i pondered and i realised, that it's always going to be easier to walk out rather than stay. So for now, even though its hard and i'm not sure how things are working out. I don't know what the other person's thinking, i don't know if this will last, but i'm going to try. I'm going to stay, because if i don't, it'll just be me walking away again, and when you walk away, you lose. You never win. |

I sat there, glancing up from my big yellow file of amaths worksheets and wondered why i didn't jump at the chance to go swimming just like my siblings had. I sat there looking around, the little blonde haired kids at the other table glancing over at me, staring at me with their big blue eyes, the strange person sitting there with this super huge yellow file of maths in her lap. I seriously don't know why, but swimming somehow brings back undesirable memories. Especially those of my past, when i was in primary 4 and primary 5, swimming was a chore. Every week. 5 nights on weekdays, 2 mornings on the weekends. What have i ever got out of that. The people there were mean, to the extent i dreaded the few hours i had to spend swimming everyday. I admit, I wasn't really very fast, I tried, I really did, but the people there, for some reason, had something against me. I still remember all their names, and i don't know, and don't care what's up with them now, but it left a mark. Trust, is sometimes overrated.

We walked from Tanglin Mall to Gleneagles hospital.
It started out with a light drizzle, and we just slowly walked along while eating our ice cream. Then Mom commented on Sam's pants, where one was rolled up and the other wasn't, pretty hilarious if you ask me. The drizzle got slightly heavier, and all the time we just continued to walk at our not-too-fast-and-not-too-slow pace joking and laughing all the way there. It's the short moments like these that i will remember. The smiles, the laughter, the cold ice cream and the sudden drops of rain landing on my head, on my clothes. You don't really need important or big things to make you happy. Small ones are enough. And for today, i'm pretty content. |

and just as i'm typing my last post,
daddy comes back from hospital. (he had to make an emergency trip to the ER) He scolds me. I don't evne know how i completed typing that last post. Great, phone confiscation is extended to one month. I REALLY DON'T NEED THAT. I DONT WANT MY PHONE CONFISCATED AGAIN. He says i treat my life like its some kind of fun game and i don't produce any results. Its really hard sometimes, you know. Trying to be positive about life when for one there is this girl in my church who seemingly has something against me when i haven't done anything to her and seems to be out to make my life hell or make me jealous or something. (Thanks for stealing my EX best friend by the way) There is the whole cca thing which is really getting to me, and i don't understand why, but there are people IN MY CCA who are really getting to me. I know, i know, people change... BUT STILL.Sometimes its a bit much. Trying to deal with society in general, GRADES. I'm not a stupid girl, no, i'm smart. I'm just not putting in effort to do well. I'm trying, i'm trying. But then, trying never gets you anywhere. Does it? I don't hate myself. I don't hate my dad. I think he's trying to force me to study, i know he's worried. Then just as Jo was about to pick up the phone a dial Dad's number, we heard the door click! It was obviously my dad, and everyone rushed downstairs to see him. Mommy gave him a long hug, and we all stood around smiling and chatting away. For once, i really felt like i belonged to a wonderful family. How nice.... ♥ |

I always feel this strong need to protect them.
Like i want to be the barrier between the two, blocking one from hurting the other. They don't understand how much i care. I don't know why i do, but sometimes, seeing them in their innocence reminds me how much fun all this used to be... I wish, i wish, i wish. The one you dislike will always remind me most, of myself. No matter what you say, no matter what you do, you cannot stop me. You are nothing to me, however you say. I have done no wrong to them, have you? You think because we are what we are, we must keep a space. But looking back on myself, the one who taught me the most, was the one who didn't conform. Space is not always what it seems. To one, miles long. To another, nothing in comparison. It differs in perception, such as barriers do. A brick wall to me, deserves to be knocked down. A young soul full of excitement, yearning to learn, doesn't deserve to be left in the dust. Because we are not the same, we do not all seem alike. But for one, i will not conform, no matter what you say. Once that could have been us, being talked about behind a shard of glass. I don't want my name to fly across the stale wind of that place ever again. Neither will i mention theirs. Its almost an omen to say it out loud, but for once, i don't care, i will not say it. I will not let them become what we are. Look at yourselves. You are no better than the previous, what right have we to judge? We have no right. Right from wrong, maybe. But no more than that. OH, and Ms Hing returned the donation card to me because she said i should try to get more money. DO YOU KNOW HOW FREAKING PAISEH IT FEELS TO DO THIS YEAR AFTER YEAR AFTER YEAR TO THE SAME PEOPLE? sheesh... I hate those stupid things. Poor kids like me ): Today wasn't fabulous. So much was said in so little time, and many things i don't think i'd ever want to hear sufficed. I feel so upset hearing all those things. Some ncos feel like the juniors don't respect them. I don't know. I know who respects me and who doesn't. I can tell. I don't expect everyone to respect me, but up to a certain extent, it has to be there. To a certain extent, i feel dissappointed today. There was so much that could have gone better. And i believe in constructive criticism or keeping things to yourself. BECAUSE I HAVE A REAL STALKER AND HE IS CREEEPING ME OUT. Yes, i wrote HE. OMGOSH. Kay, some stupid SJI guy keeps adding me on facebook, and i keep rejecting it, so i like asked him how he knows me. He said he walks by me everytime i'm at the bus stop. HE DOESN'T EVEN TAKE BUS FROM MY BUS STOP KAY. He takes from rtc one! Then I ask him if he sure it's the right person. He says it is. (Gosh, i'm scared...) Then he says he sort of knows me because i'm also friends with Ryan & Vincent. What crap is that ??? Kay, i'm freaking scared. I told Ryan that guy is stalking me. Ryan told me the STALKER said he saw me yesterday at Dhoby Ghaut with a guy. WTHELL??? I RAN FROM ONE SIDE OF DHOBY GHAUT TO THE OTHER SIDE WITH MY LEVELMATES. WHAT GUY? NO GUY! I didn't sit down at any period of time from when i reached school till AFTER promos. That's how stressed the ncos were. Including Yi Ling. The time where we played piano for 5 minutes doesn't count. MY. FEET. HURT.
I'm very disappointed with the juniors today. Where' the urgency? What happened to being Alert? What happened to helping out casualties who are squatting down in marching com because they feel sick even though you know that you are going to change shift soon? What's happening? Did we teach them the wrong thing? Give to many instructions? Confuse them? Seriously... I think I confused them at some parts because i didn't know what Su-lin had told them, so i gave them other instructions. Sorry about that... I also feel that they really have to be more sure of their first aid. When i finished bringing one casualty to the base, I was going around telling people that their shift had ended, and on the way there, I had 3 different teachers telling me about casualties. Why did the aiders not act on that ? ): I did two shifts. Because some people weren't at their shifts in time. AND WTF IS THE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS' PROBLEMS? STOP BRINGING PRIMARY SCHOOL GIRLS TO THE RED CROSSERS AND TELLING US THAT THE LIL GIRL WANTS TO GO TO THE TOILET. We're on the look out for casualties, we're not toilet wardens. Ohmigosh. Then out of fear that there will be a slightly more serious injury later on, i ask the sec2 juniors to bring those lil girls to toilet. I feel bad that they had to do that. They were trained to do first aid, NOT HELP LITTLE GIRLS WITH POO-PEE. Pissed off much? argh. I was slightly happier during promos. I'm a sergeant now (: yay(: & level picture taking was nice. I ♥ Carolyn ma'am and Deborah Tan JY ma'am for taking pictures with us (: Okay, i really don't want to go on about NDP. It was HORRIBLE. That's what i feel in general. Sigh.. |

I was really tired today, and i fell asleep in full lit lecture ):
But oh well... Couldn't help it, i really did try to stay awake kay... WE HAD THE BEST FREE ASSEMBLY IN THE WORLD TODAY! We watched a performance by the Harvard Din & Tonics!! (: They're performing at Jubilee Hall on friday night, and the tickets are like 40 bucks or something, but we got to watch them perform during assembly!! :D They do quite a lot of jazz renditions, and omigosh it was SO AWESOME!!!! Hot guys don't make me swoon, but those guys, they can sing. ;) *swoon* Shared to CD cost with Chloe & Fionna because we just love love LOVED their songs. Ohmigosh (: I really never knew i could swoon. Fionna was saying my voice jumped up a few octaves. Wow, i must've been so happy (: The McDonald Girl song is Fionna's favourite, but i really like it too! Everybody should go listen to it, it's so cute! We've all changed, for the better ♪

Yeah, scary stuff today.
Too much tension. It did go much better than expected though. I'm happy because even though our whole level agreed that I have an attitude problem AND bi-polar, they all said i was a very good friend, and a really empathetic one too (: Ego boost!! Anyway, besides that, i suppose i still had a pretty good day. GUESS WHAT CAME OUT FOR HISTORY TEST!!!!! POLICY OF APPEASEMENT!!! YAY!!! (: I was so darn happy okay! We did a practice essay on that EXACT topic. Mrs Koh even reminded us that we must have at least a paragraph on agreeing and disagreeing to get L4 !!! :D I hope I can at least get an L4! I feel like i'm saved (: Please please please please pleas please please let me pass my history test well! (fingers crossed!) We got chinese test results back today! I PASSED!!!! (: I am so happy! Studying pays off. I know you can't really study for mcq chinese comprehension, but Wang laoshi taught me all the methods on how to get my answers correct, 'cause sometimes they re-phrase it to make it tricky. FOR ONCE...FOR ONCE... I actually got almost all of the comprehension mcq correct!! (: I only got one question wrong! I passed the cloze passage section too! For once, i managed to get 5 out of 10 correct. I PASSED THAT SECTION (: I'm so happy. 19/30. I PASSED I PASSED I PASSED!!!!! (: Chinese really isn't that bad, okay! (: I think laoshi was happy with me, because she didn't scold me when i talked to Chloe today. (: I aspire to get my A1 for Chinese in May/June next year! :D English was boringgggggg. I don't even hate our new teacher because she's nice. She's just...BORING. But nevermind, i think i'll survive... Ugh, hopefully... & increase the B3 to an A1! OH YEAH, i forgot to add. Joey took part in some exchange programme in June, and now there's this Japan exchange student in our class. I think her name's Fumika. (: She's really nice, it's just a little sad that we can't really talk to her because she doesn't know a lot of english.. Eh :p AND SHE'S ON HER SCHOOL'S TEAM FOR VOLLEYBALL. Do you have any idea how lousy we felt during pe today? (We're playing volleyball for pe now.) HER OVERHAND SERVE IS AWESOME. OMGSKLJFODJFDLKFNSL! Seriously... I cannot serve like that for nuts! :S We were suppose to take the "serving" part of the volleyball skill test today, but knowing our class, we definitely wouldn't all be able to take the test. So some of us decided to play a game of volleyball! (: Fumika played with us, so it was so much more awesome! She serves really well!!! :D The interesting game went across court, hahahah! :D awesome, awesome, awesome! Oh yes, we also got our emaths test back. UGH, Don't ask what i got. And yet, i was in a mood again ): Sorry! It was still kinda nice to talk to my best friend anyway (: Got quizzed at one part, haha. I got all the answers right, see how much i love you? hahaha (: (lol :D) "What school am i from?" Milk Bread & Pink I/Cs ♥

Saturday was awesome (:
Kimberly bought milk bread for me, hooray! ♥ & Cat was really interesting because Fr.Richards did the lesson. Quite funny i suppose, he "bullied" Bryon and Raphael, haha! :P Then after that, we had a 5 minutes break, and i blatantly took Nigel's wallet since he left it on the floor. I just picked it up and walked out of the class with Kim and Grace. Nigel wasn't even asleep, he was awake kay. Then we stole his Ezlink card and gave it to Maddie (: After class we showed like, hm, a lot of people!! Then we told Nigel that Maddie had the card, but i took it and gave it to Seow instead, haha! :D Then Nigel found out that Seow had it and chased Seow and Timothy all over the canteen. They were throwing it around. Super funny (: And Seow runs damn fast sklfjdslfkjsdkl-OMG. Haha. Then Seow ran to where Alex was, and wanted to give Alex the card, but i took it instead, and hid it in Nicole Chin's bag (: Then Nigel finally figured out that Seow and Timothy didn't have it, and came after Alex who just sat there not knowing what was going on. Hahaha. Then Nigel insisted that Alex give it to him, and I went over to annoy him(: Nigel: Alex give it back! Yeah, than i ran off to retrieve it from Nicole Chin, and gave it to Nigel before he walked out of the canteen. Heehee. He was a lil miffed i think :P Ooh, and right after that, i was like "Guess what Nigel! I have the milk bread thing!" Hahahaha, and he was like "I wantttt!" (: Then made a deal with Nigel about the Night Safari blahblahblah thing which we didn't even officially plan yet. Hahah, I told him that Seow wouldn't go if Nigel did too. Then i made Nigel pinky promise. Then we went to convince Seow. Nigel told Seow to just say "yes." And Seow said "yes" but it didn't count because Nigel didn't tell him what it was about! Then when we told him, Seow said "no" so Nigel couldn't get my milk bread which he wanted badly. So we spent a few more seconds convincing Seow. Then he had to pinky promise too! (: Yeah, then i let Nigel have the last bit of my milk bread after that. Hahah (: Manipulating Nigel is my favourite thing to do! (One, of my favourite things to do! ;D) Seow changed his iPhone password ): So i didn't get it for really long. Then he gave me a hint, and i finally got it, but it was hilarious because Raphael was there and was going, "What? A bunker?" The hint was: Something that everyone ____ into (i censored the most impt word in the hint :D) Hahaha. Stupid Raphael (: Mass with Kimberly was nice ♥ I saw Michelle!!!!♥ I miss her a lot! ): Oh, and Kimberly looked really nice wearing the Tinkerbell necklace i gave her for her birthday (: Was so pretty on her. Especially the bottle of fairy dust! (: Miss the days when i could go out and not worry about much else. Sigh... WE MUST HAVE AN OUTING SOON KIM!
